About the mission

As a SMB Inbound Account Executive, you'll be responsible for managing and converting inbound leads into successful client partnerships. Serving as the first point of contact for prospective clients, you'll play a critical role in growing Alma's presence in the Italian market. This position is based in Milan, with occasional travel between Milan and Paris as needed.

In a nutshell, your main responsibilities include:

1) Lead Qualification & Conversion

  • Manage a high volume of inbound leads through phone, email, and video calls
  • Qualify prospects by understanding their needs, budget, and decision-making process
  • Convert qualified leads into active customers by clearly communicating Alma’s value proposition

2) Sales Process Management

  • Guide prospects through the sales funnel from initial interest to onboarding
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to improve lead quality and conversion strategies
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all interactions and deals in our CRM

3) Customer Needs & Solution Design

  • Conduct needs assessments to tailor Alma’s solutions to each prospect
  • Provide clear product demonstrations and answer detailed questions about our platform
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects, helping them understand how Alma can solve their business challenges

4) Reporting & Optimisation

  • Provide regular feedback to the Marketing and Product teams on lead quality and customer insights
  • Track and report sales performance and funnel metrics
  • Continuously improve sales approaches and messaging based on data and insights

About you

You'll be a good fit for the role if you have:

  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles, ideally in a fast-paced Tech or SaaS environment, with proven ability to manage a high volume of leads and achieve conversation targets
  • Language: native Italian speaker and fluency in English are mandatory as you'll be working with both local and international clients
  • You possess excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to quickly build relationship and understand customer needs
  • You're self-motivated, goal-oriented, have a high level of organisation and attention to detail, and able to work independently as well as in teams
  • You're comfortable using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation platforms
