👐 About the team

At Alma, we're building the payment solution that helps retailers and e-commerce brands grow. As an Account Executive Small Market, you'll be at the heart of this mission: owning the full sales cycle and directly driving our growth in the SMB segment.

This position is a CDI based in Paris. 

💼 About the job

New Business Development

  • Identify, target and win new SMB accounts (€2M–€10M turnover) in the French e-commerce and retail sectors
  • Own the entire sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, negotiation and contract signature
  • Engage primarily with C-Level executives and key decision-makers

Market Presence

  • Represent Alma at trade shows and conferences in France and Europe

Internal Contribution

  • Actively contribute to optimizing sales processes to support Alma's scalability

🧩 About you

To succeed in this job

  • You have 2+ years of experience in sales or business development, with a proven track record of winning SMB accounts and hitting revenue targets
  • You're an excellent communicator and negotiator — you know how to build trust quickly and close with confidence
  • You're fluent in both French and English (mandatory)

And it will be nice if you also

  • Have experience in a fast-growing Tech or SaaS company — you're used to moving fast in ambiguous environments
  • Are comfortable with CRM tools and sales tracking software
  • Know how to think big picture while staying sharp on execution

🎯 Interview Process

  • Video call with a Talent Acquisition team member to understand your path, motivation & present you the role.
  • Video call with your future manager to deep dive the role, the team, your profile and answer all your questions.
  • Case study presentation with 2 - 3 team members (ideally in house) to assess your practical knowledge**.**
  • 1 or 2 additional interviews customized to the role's level to further assess your skills and team fit.
