About the job

Since Alma's creation in 2018, our growth has been exceptional with hundreds of new merchants adopting our solutions every month. We currently collaborate with 19,000+ merchants across 10 European countries, and the acquisition of new Mid-Market accounts is a pivotal focus for us.
As an Account Executive on the Small and Medium Business market, you will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and contribute directly to Alma's sales success.

About the mission

As a Account Executive SMB, your main responsibilities include :

  • 🎯 Identifying and conquering new SMB accounts with turnovers ranging from €2M to €10M in the French e-commerce and retail sectors
  • 📞 Using cold calling, cold emailing, social media, and other channels to effectively engage prospects
  • Managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting, leads qualification to negotiation and contract signature, and primarily engaging with C-Level Executives
  • 🔥 Driving deals forward in the pipeline and achieve meaningful results
  • Representing Alma at trade shows and conferences in France 🇫🇷 and Europe 🇪🇺
  • Contributing to the optimization of internal processes to support Alma's scalability

About you

👉 You will be an ideal candidate for the role if you possess :

  • You have 2 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role, selling B2B solutions
  • You are fluent in French and English, which is essential as you will be working with both local and international clients
  • You have excellent communication skills, allowing you to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • You have sold in a competitive market where you needed to stand out
  • You are organized and structured, with a strong sense of accountability to understand retailers' needs and follow up with prospects through to closure
  • You’re excited to play an active role in driving exponential growth
